For instance, gmtower which is one of the coolest GMOD servers, if you ask me, requires tf2 and css. If you can get the texturers to work, or get css on sale at some point, you should totally check out gmtower, it's basically a server hub of garry's mod gamemodes custom to gmtower, like ball race, pvp battle or minigolf.
Update: PointedEars mentions that the correct stand in for in all css situations would be'a0 ' implying that the space is a terminator to the hex string and is absorbed by the escaped sequence. He further pointed out this which sounds like a good solution to the problem I described and fixed below. What you need to do is use the escaped unicode. Despite what you've been told 00a0 is not a perfect stand-in for within CSS; so try: content:'a0 '; /.
or./content:'0000a0'; /. because you'll find:./content:'Noa0 Break'; /. and./content:'No0000a0Break'; /.
becomes No Break as opposed to below./Specifically using 0000a0 as.If you try, as suggested by mathieu and millikin: content:'No00a0Break' /. becomes Noreak./It takes the B into the hex escaped characters. The same occurs with 0-9a-fA-F.
Once it is done downloading go inside of your steamcmd folder and then navigate to 'commonCounter-Strike Source Dedicated Servercstrike'.In there you should see a file named 'cstrikepakdir.vpk'. Open this file with GCFScape.Leave GCFScape open as you navigate to your Garry's Mod addons folder. Your Gmod addons folder should be somewhere like 'C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/GarrysMod/garrysmod/addons/'. Create a folder in there named 'csscontent'.Now from GCFScape highlight the maps, materials, models, particles, resource, and sound folders. Then right-click and click 'extract'.
Find the csscontent folder in the browser window and press ok.
